Many artisans will agree to teach workshops to further the knowledge of miniaturists. A great many miniaturists think they have to be good at making miniatures before they can sign up for a class. In other words, they look at it as college following high school instead of kindergarten. Classes are taught at different levels and the teacher will specify who the class is designed for.

The fee for a class ranges from $10 to $900.00 and they can be as short as a couple of hours up to a couple of days.

They are fun, fun, fun, and the techniques and tips one learns, together with the confidence the student gains, far exceeds the cost of the class.
